The Lewis Cattle Oiler has a very simple design and uses a diaphragm pump to get the product to the cattle. This pump is activated by the cattle rubbing on the wick. As they rub on the wick the product is dispensed to the wick and the face flap. When the cattle are not rubbing on the oiler the product is held at the pump therefor no product is dripping on the ground when not in use by the cattle.
